Dental Veneers

Aug 3 • 1 minute read

Dental veneers are thin, custom made facades that sit on the front of teeth.  They are often used when teeth are crooked, cracked, or discolored. Typically, a small amount of enamel (the outer layer of the tooth) must be removed to place veneers. Then, the veneer is made in a lab and cemented on the tooth structure. Over time veneers may have to be replaced due to wear or changes in esthetics.  Usually, it is best to undergo tooth whitening just before beginning veneers.  It is best to consult with your dentist to see if veneers are a good option for you!
