Dentures

Jun 1 • 1 minute read

A denture is a type of prosthetic device that can replace missing teeth.  Dentures are custom fitting and can also provide support for the cheeks and lips. They are usually held in place with suction or dental adhesive but can be removed for cleaning and maintenance.  Full dentures are used when all of the teeth are missing in the upper or lower jaw, but partial dentures are used when only some of the teeth are missing.  It is important to remove dentures at night and clean them with soap.
